All of our crystals are ethically sourced. Each month when we go searching for new crystals to bring into our inventory we always try and buy from the direct source. If we cannot but directly from the primary source, we research potential sellers to see if they share the same ethical standards that we do. We like buying directly from the source because that way we can better understand and identify the process that they took in acquiring their crystals and stones.
If indeed the process they underwent was not in an ethical manner then we simply move on. It is not worth risking our reputation as a company to purchase crystals that were brought to the market in an unethical fashion. Our process in making sure we only buy ethically sourced crystals is that if we haven't annoyed the seller with all of our questions, then we haven't asked enough questions.
We at the Crystal Council pride ourselves on standing out in this industry when it comes to ethically sourced crystals. We by no means want to be a part of the problem, we would much rather be a part of the solution.
